No. 1 PA Safety Prospect Rahmir Stewart commits to Nebraska in Matt Rhule’s first signing class

Imhotep Charter’s own Rahmir Stewart has committed to the University of Nebraska to continue his football career.

Stewart had his choice of schools, narrowing it down to 6: Oregon, Texas A&M, Georgia, Michigan, Oklahoma, and Penn State.

In the end, The No. 14 overall prospect in Pennsylvania and a 3-Star Safety recruit will join the Cornhuskers, newly led by former Temple, Baylor, and Carolina Panthers Head Coach Matt Rhule.

Rhule’s influence in the Philadelphia community has surely paid off as Stewart would be the first Nebraska signee from Philadelphia since 1999. Other scholarship offers have been made to Northeast High School standouts including, junior Khamir Prescott and Naquil Bertrand (Who has committed to Texas A&M) along with 4-Star Imhotep DB, Kenneth Woseley II.
