A rather windy day in the month of May saw the Central and Northeast girls lacrosse teams take the field to decide the Public League Girls Lacrosse Championship. With PIAA implications involved, Central was able to topple Northeast with a 12-2 victory and secure a spot in the PIAA 3A playoffs.
The MVP of the game went to Central’s Uyen Giang with a dominate performance that caught the eye of all referees who unanimously decided on Giang.
