The 2023 PPL Track & Field Championships were held last Wednesday and Thursday at the Germantown Supersite. With participation from over 40 of our Public League schools, we had a great all around event!!
The day belonged to Carver E&S and Northeast, who were crowned PPL Champions for Girls and Boys respectively. Each school displayed consistent success in multiple events which ultimately led to their 1st place ranking.
The E&S girls finished with a score of 160.5 with stellar performances from Payton Drumwright (400m, 200m, 300m Hurdles) & Jalynn Cage (Triple Jump, 100m Hurdles, Javelin).
The Northeast boys finished with a score of 109 with equally impressive showings from Mostafa Mohammed (Triple Jump, 110m Hurdles, High Jump, & 300m Hurdles) & Christopher Selekpoh (Triple Jump, & Long Jump)
